| Sounds Like | Gitar "Stuffed" (2009)

Rising out of the collage tradition, Gitar [post post poster artists, I Cut People & Ellipse Elkshow] hold their breath and stare critically at the sources of information and entertainment in contemporary Western society. Pop music, advertisements, radio, television and film are sent through the microscope and the meat-grinder, to be reorganized into fun, disturbing, satirical, informative and utterly ridiculous packets of sonic brain food. Consume this, get Stuffed, and see if you're still hungry for prime time.
Gitar "Pontiac Blue-Boy" (2007)

"Pontiac Blueboy" is one of our (GITAR) favorite edited improv albums. created in Berkeley, California in march of 2007, this improv revolves around a dragnet episode focusing on the LSD craze in 1967. the episode was obviously a way to scare kids away from expanding their minds, while using all sorts of propaganda/fear tactics to achieve this goal. "Pontiac Blue-Boy" is around 20 minutes and has a total of 8 tracks. it also comes with a hilarious art booklet with actual pictures of DEA officers doing what they do best...eating acid and selling it to the public.
Gitar "His Name is Nibbles" (2007)

"His Name is Nibbles" is an album dedicated to the 2500 lb elephant seal named Nibbles who is "menacing" the Sonoma County coastline. This album attaches Nibbles to Beverly Hills 90210 and the recent attacks by Al Qaeda in Iraq. Add some ALF and you get, "His Name is Nibbles." What does Nibbles have to do with 90210, ALF and Iraq? You tell us. Album edited by Ellipse Elkshow and art by i Cut People.
