Glass Ceiling consists of Audree D on drums and vocals, Linda on guitar and vocals, and Hilary on bass. Each member brings to the band a different background, creating great synergy. "Can women rock?" Yes we can, but you can come see us and make up your own mind! Linda can blaze out the most metal guitar solo, tossing out licks like candy at a parade, Hilary has been known to go for the tricks and play bass behind her head or back and Audree's drum solos always get the crowd roaring in appreciation. Pay close attention and you might see Audree and Hilary 'helping' Linda on guitar- doubling up, utilizing drum sticks, 8 fingers... it makes for a great visual show!
Music you can expect to hear at a show of theirs includes Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Police, No Doubt, Jimi Hendrix, Lauren Hill, Sugar Hill Gang, Stevie Wonder etc. Adding three part harmonies to the sonic structure, Glass Ceiling will generate a sound much bigger than on might expect from three musicians.
Sorry to spam you, we know it's lame. But, we're releasing our debut CD Zugenruhe next Friday (May 22nd) at Avogadro's Number right here in Fort Collins, and we would really love to see you there! About this page: I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
Abuse is not ok in any way, shape or form. It touches and does harm to so many lives. This is indeed the way evil is manifesting on this earth. Only Love and compassion can extinguish this harm being done daily. Show love to your abusers and forgive them. Wish them help and healing for they are suffering the most. Reach out to those abusers and offer to help them. Wake them up and make them realize that they have a problem and it's not everybody else. WAKE UP!!

There are two sides to any story. This is why our music dances between the light and the dark.. Society should rightfully complain about the greed of Oil , Health Care, & Insurance Companies.. The Economy & Housing Market. The question is.. Are we really that much better then the Organizations we complain about? Many people won't buy something until they have shopped the ends of the earth soaking in thier own greed. We complain about jobs but our greed in buying habits have put thousands of people out of work. We complain about GAS and yet most everything we buy is shipped from the other side of the world. "Thanks Walmart & sweat shop Workers!" Housing Market? figure it out... It's an Individual problem that insiminates Society! We complain about the ultra rich and yet we flock to thier charade like flies on a pile of crap. Some things you can do to change the world right now: Recycle, Be Energy and Recource efficient.
