Goaded-Watch The Empire Fall
“It's impossible for any true metal head not to get excited with this band. Rage filled music that actually has something worth saying. If you're a fan of emo whining bands, then look elsewhere because this might just be too hard for your sensitive ears to handle. - The Atomic Chaser, THE DRP/All Access Magazine
“These guys are a wrecking machine.” ”It’s got a dark sound, but it still remains melodic and catchy.” ”The quintessential Tracy G record.” “4 out of 4 Horns Up!” - Ragman, therighttorock.com

“To Die Is Gain is an example of where metal may be heading in the future; it is powerful and brutal yet melodic and deep.” “5 out of 5 Sledgehammers!!” - Manuel Hernandez Alzaga

WEST COAST METAL LEGENDS JOIN FORCES ON "TO DIE IS GAIN"
Los Angeles, CA – On their Spooky G Records debut, To Die Is Gain, two of the four members of Goaded – along with a pair of metal’s rising stars – have risen out of the shadow of one of metal’s most acclaimed singers to craft a passionate album full of slamming riffs and emotional energy.
Tracy G. and Larry “Bones” Dennison, both longtime members of Dio’s band, recently discovered a relatively unknown but gifted singer/lyricist named Jason Witte. Together with the new drummer for Korn, Ray Luzier, (arguably the biggest band in metal in the last 10 years), they formed Goaded as an outlet for “a new musical direction while nurturing their own music and careers,” says Tracy G.
In the dozen tracks on To Die is Gain, Goaded runs the gamut from full-on, in-your-face modern metal to grungy, blues-heavy rock riffs delivered by three musicians with musical pasts steeped in years of recording and touring with the legends of metal. The members call the music, "Old school mixed with New Metal with a twist" brought to life vocally by a dedicated, unique singer.
From the slamming opener, "Numb" to the closing track "Broken Man," To Die Is Gain stands out as one of the best metal debut albums of this decade with its bluesy, metal grinding dirge and deep-down vocals. Singer Jason Witte's positive spin on most of his lyrical themes makes a powerful contrast to Goaded’s musical assault.
Tracy G. believes Goaded’s music “is influenced by the past, living in the present and eyeing the future. We're just singing and playing what we feel, and I hope people that listen to the cd and see us play live feel that honesty and that release.”
To Die Is Gain was released on February 7th and is available at iTunes, Goaded’s website and selected stores.
