Raised from power and melody, GODVLAD was founded by Sérgio Carrinho (vocals, guitars) and Hugo Ribeiro (drums) in 2006 starving for making heavier music than they had in their previous projects. In 2008, after two years of hard work writing songs, developing the sound and the vibe that felt right, it was time to complete the band with a full line up.
After several auditions, Vanessa Cabral came to be instantly chosen as the female voice for the job with her beautiful melodic singing and exotic look. Guest musicians Lino Vinagre (Lead Guitar) along with Ricardo Melo (Bass Guitar), having been the founders' friends for years and also from touring together with previous projects, made the choice very obvious for the full line up. Joining the bill is studio guest Paulo Martins (keys and synths), also a long time friend of the band's, helped making Godvlad's sound more cutting edge and modern. With a complete line up, Godvlad is ready for world domination and helping to raise the bar for Portuguese metal.
Godvlad are currently in pre-production for their first album with 4 pre-production songs released on the internet, receiving excellent worldwide feedback.

Doom will never die, DOOMRAISER too! As one door closes, another opens. Valerio has decided to leave the band; he wants to concentrate more on his other projects. We all wish Valerio the best of luck with his new vocation. He was, and remains, a formidable guitarist and was an integral part of DOOMRAISER. However, it is with great pleasure that DOOMRAISER announce that Valerio’s replacement is to be none other than our good friend and brother, the fearsomely talented musician Willer. He played bass with evil blacksters Grimness and he’s involved in Black Land, an awesome and obscure heavy psychedelic band from Rome. Practices have been going very well, and Willer is already adding a new, acid and exciting dimension to the band as a whole. His first gig will be at Sinister Noise Club in Rome on the 21th November: a special and drunken night celebrating the birthday of one of the most important Italian underground rock scene club! Stay tuned… and slower, harder, drunker!
