Gog of Magog (2002-2008) était un groupe de rock garage belge au son très gras qui a commencé sous la forme duo avec une guitare, une voix (Oli) et une batterie (Stass). Fans avant tout, on admirait des groupes comme ACDC, White Zombie, Kyuss, Black Label Society, Fu Manchu, Monster Magnet, Orange Goblin, Down entre autres. On a d'abord repris quelques chansons de Black Sabbath et Motorhead ; plusieurs titres ont été composés durant cette période et plus tard avec Ludivine Haeck (Clouds of Sadness), bientôt remplacée par Alex Nelson.
Après le départ de Stass pour le Québec en juin 2006, Pierre-Emmanuel Maréchal a assuré la continuité du projet pour les deux années qui ont suivi jusqu'au split en 2008.
Le groupe s'est dissout après une trentaine de concerts dans de bonnes salles et festivals, en Belgique, Pays-Bas et Suisse et après l'enregistrement de deux démos :
Eden enregistrée aux studios Hautregard en 2004 (Channel Zero, Mass hysteria) avec Jean-Christrophe Brixhe (Tokyo Tycoon, Sodascene) et Skwal (Kadah Vresky). Ce premier enregistrement a reçu des échos très positifs sur des Webzines comme desertrock.com ou New-York Waste. Pussyfire, Death to the Droids et Snowdrop ont été diffusées par quelques radios locales ainsi que des Webradios en Belgique et en France (la Grosse Radio, l'émission Stone Edge sur Radio BLC Cambrai). Fin 2006, Pussyfire a remporté un succès lors du concours Puredemo sur Purefm
Un 5 titres Catmountain EP au Noise Factory Studio en 2007 (Neverlight Horizon, Set The Tone, Jesus Project, Kill My Doll, D Majiria...) avec Cédric Bromgart (Farm Records, La Chapelle) La chanson Climb the Mountain figure sur la compil classic rock US "Unleashed Vol. 2 " sur 272 records.

Gog of Magog was a belgian heavy garage rock band (2002-2008) first as a duet with a singer-guitarist (Oli) and Drums (Stass) then as a trio with bassist Ludi Haeck soon replaced by Alex Nelson. Fans above all, we were crazy about bands such as ACDC, White Zombie, Kyuss, Black Label Society, Fu Manchu, Monster Magnet, Orange Goblin, Down amongst others.
The band split after about thirty good venues locally and abroad and has recorded two demos.
In November 2004, we recorded a demo "Eden" in Hautregard studios (Channel Zero, Mass Hysteria) with Jean-Christophe Brixhe (Tokyo Tycoon, Sodascene). "Death to the Droids", "Snowdrop (Summer song") and "Pussyfire" were broadcasted on some local radios and Webradios in Belgium and France. "Pussyfire" won a national radiocontest and good reviews by the jury and Eden found other positive reactions in Webzines as New-York Waste, Desert-Rock.com...
After the departure of Stass in June 2006 for Québec, Pierre-Manu Maréchal could keep it rolling until the split in 2008.
In April 2007 we recorded 5 new songs at Noise Factory Studio, in Belgium (Neverlight Horizon, Set The Tone, Jesus Project, Kill My Doll, D Majiria...) with Cédric Bromgart (Farm Records, La Chapelle).
Climb the Mountain appeared on US classic rock compilation "Unleashed Vol. 2"
on 272 records.
