Wanted to be a tap dancer as a child.
An astronaut as a teenager.
Autodidact, grooving on her own,
until she met vocal trainer Neil Semer in 1995, who taught her to sing out loud (with a little help from Richard Wagner and Judy Garland).
In 1997, she formed the triphop-band RECORDER, with programmer and keyboarder Daniel Dorsch and drummer Jacob Thein. but it doesn..t exist anymore.
At present, she..s playing, recording and rehearsing with her Old-School Swing Band LOUISE GOLD UND DIE HERREN QUARZ and "The Farewell Boheme Orchestra".
Louise Gold is living and working in berlin/ germany.
