Good Riddance was a seminal, melodic/hardcore band from Santa Cruz, California. The band's career spanned from around 1993-2007 and included 7 full-length albums, several EP's and splits and countless tours all over the world. Good Riddance's final show (May 27th 2007) happened fittingly enough in their hometown of Santa Cruz, CA and was recorded live.
There is no longer a Good Riddance website as the band is no longer active. This profile is operated by a band member and kept up mostly to give GR fans a place to network and relive the music. Don't write us asking when we're coming to your town - we're not.

"REMAIN IN MEMORY - The Final Show" will be released on CD only on FAT WRECK CHORDS on March 18 (March 14 in Germany) 2008. No DVD release is planned as of yet.
Went lookin for tour dates and found yall have disbanded. THAT SUCKS! Went to many a great shows of yours, I was the one always yelling for Wrong Again at the Houston shows. Off to find the Live album. RIP

thanx for the approve mate... i am from Greece but i have seen you 4 times in london and one of them, probably 1998 in garage with AFI (with no emogothic style hahaha) and i think No Use For A Name, sth strange had happened with the electricity and your bass player got hit by small amount of electricity and i was shouting do it again....hehehehe all the times you were fucking excellent!!!
On the last few records (and the live one for that matter) was Luke playing through a Marshall jcm2000? It is hard to tell on the live record with the chorus effect he had going at all times.....Just curious. Forever a fan!
i only got to see you guys play live once. and it was a bad show...not because of you guys! it was cause the crowd was lame! colorado just doesn't appreciate insanely great music that much. i can't believe its already been a year i still catch myself thinking "man a new good riddance album would really hit the spot right now" and then i remember and i curl up into a corner for a few hours rocking back and forth listening to all of your cds back to back. haha much love to what i consider the greatest punk, no the greatest band in history.

so i came on here randomly today, just to see that its been exactly one year since your last show. so i just wanted to say i hope you guys are having fun in your other bands, and that your influence to me as a vegitarian and a guitarist has had a major impact on my life, and i hope i can grow up to make music almost as good as you guys, or at least half as good!...lol take care guys! :)
