GOOFY STLYE
The origin of ｢GOOFY STLE｣ implies, "express our music in an individuality way."
A fretless bass, wrapping around the powerful Drums.
A guitar with 2 relative sounds which is, clear tone with no limits on its clearness and, violently distortion.
A peerless vocal that touches one's heart with Japanese lyrics and,shouting from his soul.
Formed in May,1997.
They're pioneers of, to fused asian ethnic music and new generation loud music.
Most of the songs are written about [life,nature,universe] and,
the lyrics are written in all Japanese, implies KOUMEI's individuality world view.
They perform with overpoweringly sound which is,
fused asian ethnic music and new generation loud music and,written in all Japanese lyrics.
After a few times of changing band members,
they formed the current 5 members of the band as,
KOUMEI(Vo.),Iwata(Gu.),KAWASE(Ba.),SAK(Dr.).
While they live performing all around Japan,especially Tokyo,They extend their activity limits to overseas from 2005. In the same year April,they performed at ｢SPRING SCREAM 2007｣,one of the largest 3 events in Taiwan.This performance got released on the local media and influence the local people.In same year again July,they performed at another event of the 3 largest events in Taiwan.
The next year 2006,when their mini album released from their belong record company,which will be an opportunity to perform at ｢FAMINE 2006｣,an event in California,America.
Got respect from all the audience,nearly 5000 people and,the above mini album they carried with CD's got sold out.
Same year in August, the most hardest event to perform in Taiwan [ HoHaiyan Festival ],they achieved the brilliant feat as the first Japanese indies band to perform,
accomplish their performance in front of nearly 180,000 people.
2007, in summer,an event in Taiwan again,they perform.
In Japan they also,tour support the originator of mixture and rap core overseas bands like,DOWNSET and others.
Regardless in the country or not, Their ｢spiritually and illusionary ｣with tense atmosphere live performance,has a reputation from everywhere.
About expose out on music media,participate 6 compilation albums until today.In 2004,distribute the mini album ｢Genjitsu-Gensou｣ in Japan,Taiwan,Korea,when it was released,had a solo interview from "magazine DOLL" and,all media put them on the Topics as a ｢scoop｣.
From October,2007,supported the dawn of Japanese indies music scene,and influenced many Japanese Heavy Rock Bands,Iwata(Gu.) from ex. NUKEY PIKES joined the band.
To be the next music and for the new composition,they're doing more energetic activity and live performance.

「GOOFY STYLE」X系スポーツ等において、「左利き」の意味を持つ。
"通常でない、独自の方向で自分たちの音楽を表現する"という意味で命名。
1997.05-結成。
現在日本の altanative, Heavy Rock シーンに見られる、民族的アプローチを当初よりコンセプトとし、
亜細亜民俗音楽と現代ラウドミュージックを融合した先駆者的バンドとして、その世界感、サウンドを進化させ続けている。
「生命、自然、宇宙」を題材にした曲が多く、日本語のみで綴られたKOUMEI独自の世界観を、パワフルかつ正確なリズムのドラム。
絡みつくフレットレスベース、どこまでも透き通ったクリアトーンと荒々しい歪みの二面性を持ったギター。
日本詩が心に響く「唄」比類なきボーカルそして叫び。
それぞれの個性を併せたGOOFY STYLEとしての音、[Asian soul Heavy Groove]として表現している。
幾度かのメンバーチェンジを行い現メンバーはKOUMEI (Vo.) , 岩田 (Gu. ex.nukey pikes) , 川瀬(Ba.) , SAK (Dr.) の4人。
都内を中心に、日本各地でライブ活動を行う傍ら、2005年より活動の範囲を海外へと広げ、同年4月、台湾3大イベントの一つである [SPRING SCREAM2007]に出演。
この出演が現地メディアで放映され反響を呼び、同年7月、同じく台湾3大イベントの一つである、[FORMOZ FESTIVAL] にも出演。
2006年、米国、CALIFORNIAにて行われたイベント[FANIME2006]に出演。
約5000人の観衆から支持を受け、持参した上記アルバム150枚を完売した。
同年8月には台湾でもっとも出演難易度の高い[海洋音楽祭]に、日本人インディーズバンドでは初出演の快挙を果たし、約18万人の観衆でのライブを成し遂げた。
2007年、夏には台湾、台中にて行われたイベントにBRAHMAN等と共に出演を果たしている。
日本国内においてもミクスチャー、ラップコアの元祖となるDOWNSETを初めとした、海外バンドのツアーサポートを努めており、
国内外を問わずその「精神的、幻想的」な緊張感のあるライブは定評を得ている。
音源、メディアへの露出は、今迄に7枚のコンピレーションに参加。
2004年ミニアルバム[幻実現想]を日本全国、台湾、韓国等で流通させ、リリース時には、雑誌DOLLにての単独インタビューを受け、各雑誌、メディアにて[問題作]と評された。
また、SKY PerfecTV !でVo.KOUMEIへのインタビューやLIVEが数回放映されている。
インターネット上のYOU TUBEでも、海外、国内を問わずGOOFY STYLEのLIVE映像が、多数ファンの手により公開されている。
関西を拠点に、SCAPEGOAT、PIANOなど個性と実力を備えた国内外のバンドや、Funeral For A Friendの幻のデビューEPをリリースするなど、独自の審美眼で選び抜いたバンドをリリースし続けるレーベル〝ZESTONE RECORDS〟とCage9などモダン・ヘヴィ系からALESANA、THE BLACKOUTなどのスクリーモまでカテゴリーを越えたリリースと、企画/制作プロダクションとして東京を拠点に活動する〝 TRIPLE VISION entertainment 〟。そんな両レーベルがスプリットCDという形で対決/結束!! 現在関西を中心に爆発的に人気を拡大しているバンド〝Crossfaith〟の初正規音源のほか、未発表音源も収録！
