  • Bio

One time there was a big Metal scene in New Bedford but then everybody turned gay and started listening to alternative. Now people are starting to come to their senses and realize that Metal will always survive! Anyway, about two years ago Aaron and I (Steve) started talking about getting together after I left my last band (CONVULSION SICKNESS) and Aaron's long time band (DIE) broke up. Then my longtime friend Mark (who played in BETRAYER and REALITY SLAP) was available, so we began writing together and then came Eric (who played in ITI, SHITFIT, REALITY SLAP with Mark and then IT WILL END IN PURE HORROR) on drums, but he fuckin' flaked and it wont be the last time! So we looked for another drummer and came across Josh who was in another band (SHOTGUN FACELIFT) and was in two bands for a while, but things didn't work out for them so he became our full-time drummer. Now time to find a sickass singer! My friend Dan Pevide that I've known for a long fucking time did vocals for ANOXIA, he joined and the result is GOREALITY! In my opinion this is the best effort I've been a part of, I hope that you think so too.Check out our releases out on Pathos Productions. .. ...... < br>.................. ...... ...... ...... ...... ......>.... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ........ ...... ........ ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ........

Goreality was first concieved when Steve "fishkakes" Diaz and Aaron Suprenant started a project after they and their bands whent separate ways. It was to be a brutal project, more than anything that had come before. Or again... Needing a second gutarist, they went to a friend of Steve's, Mark "the darkness " Gomes, who had played in Betrayer before that. They startedputting together material and recruited a temporary drummer. Temporary because he could handle the stress and it was not long before they were looking again.... Drummer Josh Drolet, while still playing in his band, Shotgun Facelift, was was looking for another project. A friend at the local music shop referred him to Steve. Said it would be just what he was lookin for. The band wrote a four song demo but still needed vocals. After a short while, a friend of the band, Dan Pevide, came on to vocals while his band, Anoxia, had some down time. They broke up not long after that and so it was that there was a full line up... In 2007, Dan had to leave the band for work reasons. Mike Macpherson, who played drums for Godless Rising did fill in duty. Shortly after the realeaseof Perverse Depraved indifference, Aaron Left. Then Mark left.... Then temp singer, Mike, left. With just drums and guitar, they wrote four epic new songs, and began looking for a new line up. Former Blighted Touch guitarist, Sean Kelley, took took the spot on secong guitar. In 2009, Dan made his way back to the band. They also recruited Joe Duarte on bass. After everyone got up to speed, and writing resumed, Sean left the band . As an overlooked prospect in the last guitar search, Brian McKay, of Transfix fame, became the new axe man...
