Your Gracious Host releases Easy Red
It is here!!! As of July 2009 the second record from Your Gracious Host entitled Easy Red is now available for purchase and digital download on CD Baby.com! CD’s are only $8.00. This is the follow up to the critically acclaimed self titled double disc debut which was released in November of 2008.
This has been over a year in the making, and the results are in the musical pudding! This time around YGH has added a few new guests to the party, namely John Ross on vocals (Tom’s old Autoliner band mate) on Rescue Me and Blue Sky giving each a choral type backing ala the Association. A new friend Rachel Greckowicz adds some exquisite flute touches to several songs giving them a new flavor and texture (at times bringing Chris Wood of Traffic to mind…). Finally another new face Aaron Haneline ripped off a melodic guitar solo on Blue Sky that really fit the bill. Tom handled the rest of the music you hear, recorded in his home studio.
Why not go to CD Baby and buy a copy now and be the first on your block? Lyrics to several songs will be posted on this site soon, so stay tuned, also keep your eyes peeled for live appearances in the coming months.
Other news- Your Gracious Host on Not Lame! Our good friends at Not Lame.com (excellent purveyors of great pop music) have been kind enough to feature the debut on their website with a nice write up, check it out at www.notlame.com
