Movies
I like action movies. And thrillers. And sci-fi. Bonus points when two or more are combined. The best movies are the ones where the characters are bound by the rules of their universe, and their words and actions are true to those rules. In no particular order: The Matrix, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, Batman Begins, Memento, Back to the Future, Aliens, Terminator 2, Shaolin Soccer, Star Trek II: Wrath of Kahn, Star Wars: Episodes IV-VI (pre-Special Edition - I'm entitled to my own opinion), Night Watch, LOTR series, Die Hard, Pirates of the Caribbean, Speed, Underworld. I also liked October Sky, Apollo 13, Office Space, Amelie, The Incredibles and The Princess Bride.
Television
I try not to watch too much TV (ironic, isn't it?) New series: BSG, Eureka, The Big Bang Theory, Top Gear. Reruns: Buffy (I was once quoted in a newspaper as saying The Trio were my favorite Buffy characters, which is true), Firefly, SportsNight, and of course Star Trek (I'm partial to TNG). My old favorites are the A-Team, Knight Rider and Salvage One... you know the one where Andy Griffith builds a spaceship out of junk... awesome!
Books
I'm trying to commit Machinery's Handbook to memory, but it has more pages than The Bible. The last fiction I read was Snow Crash. Ninja-pizza delivery guy. Awesome.
