The 5-piece from Utrecht plays well-crafted songs that deal with the hangovers you can get from drinking, girls, dreams, work and growing older. .. It started out as a folk project of singer/songwriter Alexis Vos, but after the release of the debut EP Depending on the Weather a band was formed in August 2006. The line-up compromises Berend Jan Ike (guitar, vocals), Ruben Bazuin (bass), Arno Breuer (drums) and Stefan Breuer (piano, banjo). .. Along with the line-up, the sound has expanded and ranges from lofi-rock, cheerfull chamber pop to dreamy americana. Influences are drawn from the likes of Ryan Adams, R.E.M., Josh Rouse and Pavement. ..

Balancing on the border of indiepop and alt.country, somewhere between fall and spring, is where you can find Grapes of Grain.

The 5-piece from Utrecht plays well-crafted songs that deal with the hangovers you can get from drinking, girls, dreams, work and growing older.
