Green Pepper Junction was established more than 30 years ago, spearheaded by Asher Halle originally as a production company.
In its infancy producing popular and commercial music, with "in-house" writers and composers, the company gained success and followed through on this by expanding into wider management and signing various acts and bands. By the 80's, the company had gained recognition and popularity for its own productions and involvement internationally, brokering products from other companies and artists by placing their product in other territories.
Further success followed from the companies yearly pilgrimage to Midem in Cannes, where GPJ established its reputation further by 'showcasing' various acts and bands, most of who were signed internationally in many deals and contracts, also becoming remowned for the high quality product and success in various fields in the music industry.
It wasn't until the lat 90's that Asher decided after much persuasion to turn the company into a recording label, signing artists to the label and licensing in and out product ranging from jazz, R&B, to dance and pop from various companies and territories.
Now we are highly focussed on the retaining and development of 'Real Music' in conjunction with the latest technologies, innovative ideas & genre's that are now springing into this ever changing world of music. Our end results stand to achieve finished products that are of a high standard of musicianship, performance, construction, production, artistry and quality of sound/vision worthy of being considered fine creation.
