All the classic 70s sitcoms I grew up on and stuff like the Sopranos or....I don't want to come across like a couch potato, I don't watch inordinate amounts of TV. But I do watch some and I have old-school favorites and modern-day guilty pleasures I won't really go into. Still, why Arrested Development ended up getting canceled is beyond me....it was pretty great.
Books
I could name quite a few since I'm MISERABLE without some kind of reading material at all times, but I'll name just one, the one I always check people's bookshelf to see if they have it like a litmus test for coolness: A Confederacy Of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. NOTHING comes close for me, fiction-wise.

Or maybe those "Viva O Samba" and "Soul Of Samba-Rock" CDs. Others may know me from my longtime Wednesday night residency at Nublu in the East Village alongside Forro In The Dark. Others still may have encountered me in the decade-plus I've been plying New York venues with the choicest funk + soul + reggae + Latin + jazz + rock + etc + etc + etc....
