Members of MARRA both live & in the studio have included; Jeff Bowders, Ray Luzier, Glen Sobel, Joy Basu, Atma Anur, Philip Bynoe, Joey Heredia, Tiho Borosak, Michael Elsner, Bjorn Englen, Ethan Bjork, and Kunal Dovedy.
Greg Marra is currently on tour promoting Dimarzio Pickups known worldwide as the premier manufacturer of premium pickups. A summer release is planned for his vocal based cd titled simply MARRA featuring a huge cast of A-List musicians. Tracks have been completed from Joey Heredia, (L.A. studio legend) on drums, and Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai) on bass. Ray Luzier (Korn, Army of Anyone and David Lee Roth band) was recently in Greg's studio recording drums for three tracks including a barrage of crushing beats destined for an epic instrumental piece. Andrew Freeman (Lynch) has signed on for vocals and will begin tracking in June. Look for new audio clips here at MySpace and a full-length cd due in mid 2008.
The past few years have proven to be eventful for Greg kicking off with the release of his debut solo instrumental cd "Collective Disorder" followed by a feature in Guitar Player magazine May '05 issue in Mike Varney's Spotlight column. Collective Disorder has been broadcast all over the world on several internet as well as college radio and includes memorable performances by Glen Sobel (Elliott Yamen of American Idol, Gary Hoey, Alcatrazz), and Joy Basu (Jessica Simpson). Greg has been on tour supporting Collective Disorder since 2006 and his live band has included the following world class musicians; Atma Anur (Shrapnel Records studio legend), Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai band), Jeff Bowders (Paul Gilbert, G3 Tour), Bjorn Englen (Yngwie Malsteen band), and Joey Heredia. Highlight dates from the tours include performing to a packed house at the world famous Baked Potato and the Majestic Ventura Theater. Greg was honored with opportunity to open up for the Michael Schenker Band (Scorpions, UFO), in the summer of 2007.
