There are many times when The Grey Lodge is exactly the sort of bar that when I started off here almost 12 years ago I always hoped to run. The sort of place where strangers can get to talking over a beer or two, share thoughts and ideas, and become friends. I got a very pleasant surprise two Fridays ago when Paul Coff handed me this poem he wrote about the late Herb Brown. Herb was a really special and talented guy. Paul had only met him once and a little while later called Herb's house only to find he had passed away the prior week. Herb would have loved it as much as I do.
The In-house Dart Shoot on Sundays has been a lot of fun and getting a very good turnout. Shooters toss in $5, partners are picked randomly, the winner keeps the pot. We also put out some wings and pies for the shooters. It happens every Sunday afternoon at 3pm. Come out and join the fun. *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************
About me: The Grey Lodge Public House has been in bussiness for about 10 years now. Headed by the ever amazing Mike Scottese, The G.L.P was ranked the 25th best beer bar in the country by "Beeradvacote.com." Also we were ranked in the top 10 bars in the country by "Esquire mag." Located on Frankford Ave., just up the street from another very popular bar, the lodge boosts 10 beers on tap at all times. The major difference from the thousands of other bars in this area is what comes out of those taps. Micro-Brews, these are locally brew specialty beers, the likes of which are never seen in the northeast.
Ales, beers, stouts, lagers, pilsners, belgians, and many other very rare drinks.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm getting divorced and was miserable and there was one place I wanted to go, some place I haven't been in awhile. That place was the Grey Lodge. I had a great night with my friends and I am glad to be back in the area so I can the Lodge home again.
