The 2007 Granite State Songwriting Contest is back and bigger than ever. Building on the excitement of last year's event, more sponsors have joined forces with greater awards and the contest is now officially open. Prizes include a $250 cash prize, a free press kit design courtesy of stretchtheskies.com, ,a spot onstage at Matt Bonner's Sneakers and Speakers event at the Capital Center for the Arts, a full day at New England's premier recording destination (Rocking Horse Studio, www.rockinghorsestudio.com), and a 10 station college radio campaign courtesy of Impact Player Music. The winner will also receive an online "Music Button" through FYE and a full press release for media coverage. Solo acts or bands may enter the contest by submitting a completed entry form and their original songs on CD. Also, the victor gets the coveted title of "Winner of the 2007 Granite State Songwriting Contest."
