"A calming ship ride into the intro of the album with a whimsical session of bagpipes comes a stroke of pleasing mixed genre unpredictability, Guerrilla Blue has comprised a solid mixture of stoner rock, sunken blues riffs and heavenly guitar slams to match wits with the best of the Minneapolis rock scene with their new album “Fluorescent Fuzz.” - Rift Magazine

The gentlemen of Guerrilla Blue, analogized by the cars they drive:
Paul Shanafelt: Dodge Stratus
Paul has been driving this domestic brute into the ground with his daily commutes and weekend Midwest excursions, much like his ability to drive the rest of the band crazy with his sophomoric humor and patriarchal monkeyshine. Along with the Stratus’ Black Beauty-esque horsepower, Paul’s untamed locks of hair also generate high-octane ability during live performances. The power steering abilities of his car may or may not have helped him turn his life around after struggling with an addiction to green Skittles.
Chris Wingate: Chevy Cavalier
Talk about a sanctimonious rattletrap! With the flare of the bright red paint job also comes the sensitivity of a prudent interior. Chris’s inner tenderness is apt to quarrel with his rugged masculinity through the guitar medium, which is put on display with songs such as “Black Saturday.” Like parallel parking the compact Cavalier with relative ease, Chris has dexterously navigated his way into the upper echelon of Lake Calhoun-area guitar demigods with his saucy playing abilities.
Nick Williams: Chevy Impala
While this vehicle doubles as his company car, Nick’s bass also serves dual purpose as a medieval tennis racket. Additionally, the roomy interior of the Impala allows Nick to maneuver effortlessly during backseat orgy parties. While the outrageous mileage he has put on his car can be damaging, it doesn’t compare to the ghastly blisters young Nicky Wills has accrued on his fingers during his tenure with Guerrilla Blue.
Todd Wiersma: Honda Accord
Much like the Accord’s sturdy frame, Todd’s properly trimmed sideburns help maintain a steady balance for the band’s foundation. If the left chop is lower than the right, it will be evident in substandard drumming. The Accord’s elegant interior typifies the ornamented education Todd received at the University of St. Thomas, where anything less than a $35 paid gig, (or a $35k yearly salary), is scoffed at. The superb gas mileage associated with this imported automobile is telling of Todd’s no-nonsense approach in dealing with booking agents and exotic pump jockeys.
