Gurkha come at you dragging the putrid corpse of punk
and stuffing it full of heavy bastard rock, doom, thrash
and a good dose of all things in between, climbing
inside it and riding it downhill in pursuit of a rolling wheel
of cheese. Musically veering from ballsy, bangin'
rock n roll to acid fried rock via all out thrash punk assaults,
Gurkha are not afraid to try something new, and refuse
to be pigeonholed by genre or scene stylings, the
only stipulations being that it be heavier and
dirtier than a pissy, stinking, obese, tramp. Dragged
backwards through a hedge, kicking and screaming
from their cave/hovel in the bowels of the Mendip
mountains, deep in the darkest wilds of the West Country,
Gurkha are three men looking to make your arse fuck off
down the road to get a new bagpipe. Period. Word.
