WHAT IS PURA VIDA? Pura Vida (POO-rah VEE-dah), expression used in Costa Rica as a greeting (“ it’s going great!”) and to show satisfaction. Costa Ricans use it to convey a philosophy of strong community values, perseverance and good spirits. .... PURA VIDA MUSIC is the free and independent expression of three artists. GUTS & QUETZAL , the Beatmakers and MAMBO, the Graphic Designer share common passions, such as Hip Hop culture, vinyl records, street art, biking and birds. Pura Vida is the adventure of creative people who have chosen to live on their art. Firstly, we’re recycling music in order to give it a new shape, following the pure sampling tradition of Hip Hop. Then, we present it in a vinyl+cd combo-packaging, exclusively created to satisfy our eyes and ears, but especially our taste. Pura Vida is straight musical fair trade! -
