BIOGRAPHY

Gates Of Hopeless is a 5-piece member Metalcore/Deathcore/
Mosh/2-Step/Screamo -band from different parts of Osaka JP.
The band was founded in the beginning of 2004. And the first demo
and 4 way split demo was recorded just after the second practice session.

The recording of our debut EP is finished and its available NOW!!

We live in japan but If you wanna get our materials.
Right now, we are currently unsigned...

結成以来、常に独自のスタイルを持って活動してきたGates Of Hopeless。これまでにデモを2枚、Hand Of Godとのスプリット作、Canopus、Hands Upon Salvation、Nothingとの4way スプリット作をリリース。
そして、その間も精力的にライブ活動を行い、TerrorやxDestroybabylonxの来日公演のサポートも果たしてきた。そして時を経るごとにその音楽性、話題性を共に高めてきた彼らが、満を持してリリースする単独音源が本作『Beauty In the Eyes Of the Beholder』。

大阪を代表するメタルコアバンドfate in spiralが運営するBrave Note Recordingsからのリリースだということも興味深いが、やはり何よりもその音像の変化がおもしろい。研ぎ澄まされたリフワーク、ライブでのピット形成を容易に想像させる強烈なブレイクダウン、凶暴すぎるボーカリング。
本作にはこれまでの音源で聞くことの出来たニュースクールテイストはもはや身を潜め、現代的メタルコアサウンドが終始散りばめられている。また、ゲストヴォーカルとしてM①「The Saddness Will Never Forget」にはfate in spiralのRyota、Kentaro、M②「My Bitter Killed」にはStir Up ShitのM-344が参加。シーンの結束力の強さも感じることが出来るだろう。ハードコアの聖地、大阪。ここからまた新たなる激情が世界に向けて放たれる。ただ、聞いてくれ。
