    HafLife came to be, fusing several musical styles, rock, goth, funk, and industrial, to create the genre HafLife lovingly calls 'BOOTYCORE". HafLife was founded by vocalist MD 20/20 and guitarist HANDI J in 2004. After their first release that same year, HafLife won Best Industrial Band at the Detroit Music Awards and has been nominated every year since. Since it's inception, HafLife added drummer, V, and bass guru, Tsar Bomba to lay down some dirty, tasty grooves. HafLife has performed with such groups as My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, En Esch (KMFDM) and Christian Death. "None of us take ourselves too serious on a personal level. However, it's not about us, it's about the music. We're all pretty goofy (in a good way) and like to kid around on and off stage. Some bands are far too serious. It's not in our nature to do a show in jeans and t-shirt. It's a show right? Give 'em something to look at while we rock their faces off! It's all about smoke and mirrors and we have plenty of both. LOL!" HafLife's music has been featured in several independent films including Bruce Campbell's (evil dead series, army of darkness, burn notice) "Hatred of a Moment".

HAFLIFE came to be, fusing several musical styles (industrial, funk, rock and horror) to create a genre called "BOOTYCORE". Striving for maximum audience participation and energy level allowed by law (and sometimes beyond). They don't just play music, they entertain. HAFLIFE formed in 2000 from members of Mental Landscape. After releasing their first full length CD as Haflife, they won Best Industrial Band at the Detroit Music Awards and has been nominated every year since. In addition to the Mental Landscape alum, HAFLIFE has added a live drummer, V (formerly of Passion Nouveau, Skin Horse and Toxic Beat Syndrome) and bass guru, Dean Western to lay down some tasty, dirty grooves. .. ..View HafLife's EPK
