haftor medbøe group is based in Scotland but we all have roots elsewhere in Scandinavia, Iceland, Poland and Australia. We've played in many places over the past few years and particularly enjoy the bizarre locations - lighthouses, barns and sheds - although the occasional concert hall is also very nice. The touring line up features saxophone giant Konrad Wiszniewski alongside the irreplaceable Signy Jackobsdottir (percussion) and Chris Greive (trombone).
Our first EP and album were released on our own label and the follow up was on Linn Records.
