Slowhand Staccato is like the soundtrack to a movie of Fellini realized by Tarantino. Spanish-arabian tunes are mixed with tango elements and the broken beats of a marching band. Ben zen Berg bundles melancholy with new elements he finds on the dark side of kitsch. A shellac nostalgia, frozen in technical sterility, will awake in a new life of warm but synthetic sound.
