Hanouneh is a jazz vocalist who has moved on to reggae and hip hop, fusing her musical ambitions with her political struggle. She has worked closely with the Lebanese underground hiphop scene, and is a part of Beirut collective "961 Underground" although she is based in Sweden nowadays.
At the moment Hanouneh collaborates closely with riddim man/producer Mr. Sloap. They were voted Artist of the month in P3 Lab in May 2008 and one of their singles, Stay Strong, has been on rotation on P3 since early April.
