I produce electronic music. Other stuff that gives me pleasure in life: clubbing/dancing, concerts, baseball, Zen Buddhism, playfighting with my cat Sam, swimming, biking, spicy Thai food, sushi, good beer. I hope to adopt a boxer puppy someday. Travel is essential. Maui is the closest thing I've seen to heaven on this planet. I've resided in both France and England. I really dig New York City and go there as often as I can. My list of places to visit next include Iceland, Ibiza, and Macchu Picchu (Peru).

I rarely watch television, but I adore Family Guy and South Park, and I like some of the shows on Animal Planet, particularly ones about animal rescue. Lately I've been watching a British comedy series from 1982 called "The Young Ones."

Ballard, anything by David Sedaris, pretty much anything by William Gibson, the I Ching (Book of Changes), Codependent No More by Melody Beattie, Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe, the Sandman graphic novels by Neil Gaiman, The Trial by Franz Kafka, When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron, Obsessive Love by Liz Hodgkinson, L'Amant by Marguerite Duras, Touching from a Distance by Deborah Curtis, the works of William Burroughs...the list could go on and on forever.

About me: I would never settle for second best in life. If I couldn’t have exactly what I wanted in life, then I would have absolutely nothing, because to me, nothing always seemed more important than a false something or something that I didn’t really want.

Hi, I'm Jen. Aside from the quote above, here's what Jen's about:
I dance my heart out. I produce electronic music, and I've mastered the art of DJing. I'm in the process of forming an electro rock/new wave band, and I need a keyboard player. If you are interested, please contact me!
If you're a Depeche Mode fan, you get extra points...DM forever! They are with me always, like a rosary in my pocket...or perhaps I should say a compass. They expose the same dark realities I have in my mind and, like me, are devoted to beauty despite its attendant suffering. Please reach out and say hi if you are one of the black swarm. I'd love to share the Tour of the Universe with you.
I've done more living in 35 years than most people do in a lifetime. I speak French. I wrote a book of short, speculative fiction (titled She Taught Him the Meaning of Radioactivity) and published some of the stories in the UK. I have a master's degree in writing and am an editor by profession. I spent years of my life in Europe in my late teens and throughout my 20s, residing in both France and England.
I'm a baseball fan, and I love animals of all kinds. If you don't like cats, we won't get along...my cat, Sam, might as well be my own flesh and blood. I also volunteer at the Anti-Cruelty Society, where I help dogs find homes.
I am highly sensitive to the psychic phenomenon called synchronicity (also known as serendipity). Keeping my body fit is a priority. I'm a pescatarian. I love hot weather, long showers (preferably with somebody else), and lots of pulp in my orange juice.
I am NOT a phone person or an online chatter. I want to talk to you face to face. I like to do things myself, not just watch others do things. I plan in advance. My family is very dear to me. I am emotional, honest, reliable, and extremely hard on myself. Although I've done a lot of living, I retain a youthful spirit and remain open, always looking to evolve further.
Who I'd like to meet: 1. Metrosexual, evolved men who are beautiful inside and out. Someone who will enhance my life and love me for who I am. Someone who will incite passion in me again. I haven't felt passionate about someone in "real life" for a long time. Make me want to touch you.
2. People who like to go dancing/clubbing (particularly in Chicago, at Vision and Neo).
3. Electronic music producers...maybe we could learn a thing or two from each other.
4. Dave Gahan, the most beautiful man I've ever seen. Why can't more guys emulate him?
5. I would have liked to have met Ian Curtis. Perhaps in my next life I will.
6. Morrissey.
7. Soulmates—people whose energy cycles at the same frequency as mine, and ultimately, my twin flame.
Hey thanks for the add, check out some of my work and leave me a comment letting me know what you think! Also send me a message if you're interested in getting tattooed!!!
