HARMONY were founded by Markus Sigfridsson (guitars) and Tobias Enbert (drums) in 2000. They both were friends for a long time and finally decided to put their musical visions together in HARMONY. With Henrik Bath (friend of Markus) the best possible singer for their straight, melodic musical direction was found and with thim the band recorded their first and only demo in 2001. The demo received great reviews and featured well f.e. in Sweden Rock magazine.
With their first demo the band already got a deal done with Massacre Records, which was signed in 2002. For the recordings of the debut album it was really up time to complete the line up to a full band, as on the demo Markus Sigfridsson also recorded bass and keys. On keyboards the guys recruited Magnus Holmberg, also a musical student and friend of singer Henrik. New bassist was found in Andreas Olsson (Stormwind, Narnia, Wisdom Call) who joined after recommendations from Narnia- singer Christian Rivel.
The debut album DREAMING AWAKE is done now and shows a young, fresh but unbelievably professional band, which concentrates on the essesnce of their songs. Wonderful hooks and melodies (Eternity, Dreaming Awake) combined with optimally included instrumentals (Into the Afterlife, Fragile, The Fall) and balladesc songs (She) combine to an extremly harmonic album. The album is dominated by Markus dominating, but always song-focused guitar playing, singer Henrik Bath tops the songs with his emotional, but never overpitched vocals. HARMONY do show on their debut already which enormous potential this band has and get a great introduction with DREAMING AWAKE.

Thanks a lot for the add! It's so sad that you didn't release another album yet, "Dreaming Awake" is one of my absolutely favourite metal albums of all time! It's got so much feeling and melancholy! It's rare to listen to such a brilliant piece of music nowadays! Keep it up! Don't surrender!
