Harris Robotis Bio
When starting out, most artists are faced with the difficult task of creating a name that both reflects their sound and that will continue to define them long into the future. Well thankfully Harris’ parents did this for him aptly & distinctively christening him.
As a kid growing up playing guitar and keys in various bands, Harris’ distinct use of cutting edge production techniques was further honed by a traditional approach to music theory.
This unique style has drawn attention in the place where new talent often first gets recognized and trends are set… the blogosphere. It’s a land where the haters speak loud and the lovers shout louder. With a fever of hype around his remixes of Goose, DJ Rockid / Jaimie Fanatic, Raziek, Van She and Act Yo Age, it’s no wonder his demand as a remixer has skyrocketed. Popularity for his own original production has had the same effect with ‘Shampain!!!’ being snapped up for Onelove’s best selling compilation and 'Up all night' by Ajax's Sweat it out label.
His ear for a fresh sound, combined with a unique sense of musical style meant this bionic man was always destined to rock the dance floor. He’s been racking up dj spots alongside names such as Tiga, The Bloody Beetroots, Justice, Boy8bit, Digitalism, MSTRKRFT, Boysnoize, D.I.M, Sinden, Fake Blood, Headman, Surkin, The Rapture, Crookers and Sven Vath.
For Harris Robotis the future looks exciting. His gig schedule is jam packed and his release schedule is a robotic onslaught of music. Can the future keep up?
