    If Swiss PunkRock is as good as swiss chocolate, Hateful Monday definitely is the peanut of it all... Formed in 1998 in the Geneva suburbs by Lead singer Seb and drummer Igor, the band will later find its real identity with the arrival of guitar players Gr3g and Matt, coming all the way from the nice french neighbourood... The band released in that time 2 EP and 3 LP released on different independant swiss and french labels such as Hannibal's Records, Kicking Records and GPS productions. The band has toured all over Europe with many famous names of the international rock and Punk scene such as Bad Religion, Hot water Music, The Toy Dolls, Snuff, The Adolescents and other french acts like Uncommonmenfrommars, Burning Head,Dolly or Superbus... In April 2006, the band released the album called "The last march of the ignorants" on GPS Prod (GVA favorite independant sh*t!).. The album has been praised by critics, reviewers and public all over the world and has given new opportunities for the band,,, In January 2008, more or less 10 years after the band's beginnings a new and critically acclaimed album is released. It is called "HALF A WORLD AWAY", filled with great melodies and the raw energy of punk music... 2010 saw the release of a limited edition hardcore-oriented 7Inches record called "LIONS AND JACKALS" which also mark the arrival, for the first time in 10 years of a fifth member in the band. The one and only Charly Cougar took the guitar duties with Matt switching to bass and the Reverend becoming the lead singer. The band keep touring and producing new music for your listening pleasure, Stay tuned and check the band on tour, soon in your town !!!! Keep the Punk spirit alive... Never Give up ! ..
