"Hannaford and the Heart Stoppers is a bizarre name for a heavy band, but they do a damn fine imitation of a mechanized army invading a quiet village. They begin with155mm howitzer staccato bursts of bass and stampede along until they sound like the thunder of a thousand tanks driving over jagged rubble, crushing masonry and firing as they go along. The tinkles, crash and buzzing grind of groaning steel and concrete buildings coming down peaks to a crescendo. Women scream and children burn. And then it's over."
