HATRED DOWN band of Metal hardcore from Rouen (France).
The band began in september 2006 (under the name of “Letters”) and it consists of David (vocals), Gregoire (Guitar), Simon (Bass) and Stephane (Drums). After making some shows in Haute-Normandie and Picardie, the band records is first demo called “From.”
In 2007, arises some problems in the line-up : the drummer moves in Luxembourg what leaves the band in stand-by. So, the research of a new drummer was imposed for recording the EP “Happiness is lost” at the end of october 2007 (in free listening on the myspace). Couldn’t find his drummer, so David, the singer, taking the drums, and Jerome “Gouge” joins the band and becomes the new singer. Thus was born Hatred Down. The shows resumes. At the end of 2008, Simon leaves the bass to take the second guitar and Raphaël integrate Hatred Down as bassist. Now, the line-up is : Jérôme (Vocals), Gregoire and Simon (Guitars), Raphaël (Bass) and David (Drums).
2008-2009, the band compose to present something new to the public, and thus, resume shows across France... We have recording a new EP (3 tracks) in august 2009 and looking for to record the first album in 2010.

HATRED DOWN groupe de Metal hardcore provenant de Rouen.
Le groupe débute en septembre 2006 (sous le nom de « Letters ») et il se compose de David (chant), de Grégoire (guitare), de Simon (basse) et de Stéphane (batterie). Après avoir fait bon nombre de concert en Haute-Normandie et Picardie le groupe enregistre sa première Démo "From".
En 2007, se pose quelques problèmes de line-up : le batteur déménage au Luxembourg ce qui laisse le groupe en stand-by. Ainsi, la recherche d’un nouveau batteur s’est imposée pour enregistrer le EP « Happiness is lost » à la fin d’octobre 2007 (en libre écoute sur le myspace). N’arrivant pas à trouver son batteur, c’est alors David, le chanteur, qui prend la batterie, et Jérôme « Gouge » rejoins le groupe et devient le nouveau chanteur. Ainsi né Hatred Down. Les concerts reprennent. A la fin 2008, Simon lâche la basse pour prendre la seconde guitare et Raphaël intègre Hatred Down comme bassiste. A présent, le line-up est donc : Jérôme (Chant), Gregoire et Simon (Guitares), Raphaël (Basse) et David (Batterie).
2008-2009, le groupe compose pour présenter quelque chose de nouveau au public, et par conséquent, reprendre les concerts à travers la France… Nous avons enregistrer par nos propres moyens un EP en août 2009 (3 titres) et allons enregistrer un premier album début 2010.
