...... Homero Chavez is an Independent Drummer, Percussionist, Instrument designer, Clinician and Producer. Homero is currently promoting his signature Kotz cajon (“Homero Chavez Cajon”) by touring throughout the USA, Mexico, Russia and Canada. He appears on industry magazines such as Percussive Notes, Percussion News, Latin Beat, Drum, and Modern Drummer Magazines He has written articles published by Percussive Notes and Guitar Magazine. His latest CD "El Canto De La Gente" has been well received by audiences throughout the USA and Mexico. As a community member of Pomona CA. Homero is a drums and percussion advocate within the youth movement. He has designed youth programs such as The Award Winning Stomp-Kids for the local community center. He teaches Drums and Percussion at the Pomona Youth Summer Camp. He also has a monthly drums and percussion workshops at REMO RMC N. Hollywood. He produced and or appears on drums and percussion in the following productions: PAS "El Cajon" Pod-casts 007 and 011 "El Cajon Clinic" PASIC 06, NBC production "Giatanas", Michelle Shocked Live at Sta. Monica Pier, Makina Loca Live at Read Sea Jazz Festival, James Hurley CD, Son Mestizo CD, KZ "Live at the Troubadour" CD, Denise Donatelli CD and "El Canto De La Gente" CD, radio and Internet spots for Allegiance Telecom, and radio adds with the Mexican icon Ricardo Montalban.
