heavy winged started in the fall of 2004 in brooklyn, new york. all of our music is improvised live to a busted 4 track, with a few exceptions. drummer jed moved across the country to portland, oregon in the summer of 2006 because he is an asshole. guitarist ryan now lives in vermont, where he works as a weed churner/cattle herder. bassist brady continues to live the new york dream of beer. still, the band continues to release music and record whenever they are all in the same town. there are lots of releases out, and many more to come.
This is the first set from the slightly tweaked Beach Fuzz line-up with Fliss Horrocks now playing guitar alongside Tom Settle and Nick Mitchell. Seven tracks of clattering drums, chugging and wailing guitars, screaming keyboards, mellow, lilting pastoral improv and moaned vocals.

Hey Jeddy! Alive In My Mouth is quite incredible, such a fucking thick rope of guttural riff. It's so good to have that artwork in my hands too. I played it at NFR last week and was zoning people out by showing them the artwork.
