Formed in Melbourne, Australia in the summer of 1999, Heligoland have released two albums and a number of singles to date.
Heligoland relocated to Paris in early 2007 and now have something of an inter-contintental flavour to the lineup with the addition of France Cartigny (drums) and Stéphane Pigneul (guitar).
To date Heligoland have played numerous shows, radio sessions and have been building a following in Paris as well touring Spain, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Belgium. Further tours to Germany, central Europe and elsewhere are planned for the near future.
