Hella Donna was founded in 2003 in Plauen/ Vogtland. After the shortest time, the 5 musicians have found much interest and were topics of conversation. Their English songs, which you can describe as a mixture of Power-Rock and Pop, have placed themselves quickly in regional, national and international web charts and radio charts. The debut single "Hometown Radio" was released in 2005 and was commercialized by the famous Record-Label "Monopol Records Berlin". Many radio stations (e.g. Vogtlandradio, R.SA, Bayern3, Radio Zwickau, Radio Zusa und Radio NRW) have taken Hometown Radio" into their programs. In April 2007 the band finally released their first album "Come On". The singles "Give me some time", "Starstalker" and "Come On" were lifted off this album in 2007. In addition to the first single, the Bavarian movie company Dreamfilms produced a complex music video, which was also used for a projected movie with the same name "Starstalker". But Hella Donna don't rest on their achievements. They are invited to take part in many radio- and TV-shows (e.g. FAB-Berlin, VRF, Antenne Thüringen, TV Zwickau, Landeswelle Thüringen, Vogtlandradio) and inspire their audience all over Germany. The absolutely top of their career until today was without a doubt their Headlner-Germany-Clubtour in Autumn of 2007. That November, Hella Donna could be joined in 16 Cities of Germany - Hamburg, Stuttgart, Koeln, Nuernberg but also great open airs like "Wood Pop" or "Summer Summit Festival". After a short baby break Hella Donna returned with the second album "Different Faces" which was released in July 2009. The first single from this album, "Only you", was released in May 2009 and was presented in the famous TV-Show called "Germany?s next Showstar" on Pro7. "Only you" soon became number 1 in the official Webcharts and was also taken into the programs of many radio stations (JUMP, Radio BOB, Rockradio and 70 more stations). The video belonging to the single still gets Top-Views on video platforms. With more than 30 gigs in 2009 Hella Donna was also really active in terms of live-performances. Highlights in this year were surely the "Splashdiving-WM" as official WM-band and the "JUMP!-Community-Party" in Ferropolis. Hella Donna starts 2010 with a new single called "Good Things". This cheerful Pop-Punk song was released in January 2010. After finishing all live acts in 2010, the members of Hella Donna decided to devide, actualize themselves in different music projects. But in spring 2011, Sven and René decided to rebuild the band. At the moment Hella Donna is working on a new show and also on new songs for the third album coming up in 2012. Now Hella Donna is completed with the new vocalist Anika Karabas and the Keyboarder Lars Henrik Lincke. Check the new blog @ http://blog.helladonna.com
