Strange forces brought Seattle's post_punk wierdos Hell Upside Down together What else would prompt an out of work farmer/guitarist with an everpresent strand of hay dangling from his mouth (Bosch) to relocate from Kentucky to Seattle in "86. Where he eventually hooked up with an industrial tycoon (Mike) who was dabbling in feedback? The two did a stint at Olympia's Evergreen State College, and the inevitable "student concert series", complete with rear screen projection, "post modern" slide show, and gyrating dancers.
Uninspired with this artsy-fartsy approach to music/entertainment, the two joined forces with engineer/bassist, Gregor Visconty, and the furious drummer Mark Hanna, who had lately been spending lonely hours in his basement shocking himself with homemade electrical appliances - a true story. (We're happy to report that a healthy Hanna is now married and involved in safer activities).
Presently the band is in extended hiatus, but you never know stranger things have happened.
