The November issue of Northeast Performer is here and we are celebrating by hosting a show with guests Drug Rug, Amoroso, and Paper Thin Stages! The show will take place on Sunday, November 4th at the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain. Come hang out with the Performer Staff - SUBMISSIONS ARE ENCOURAGED. Tell us about awesome new music, and buy us a drink.
Headliners, Drug Rug, just released their fantastic debut - songs that run amock without regard to sensible rhyme or reason. Alan Lomax nursery rhyme field recordings hold hands with Lou Reed tambourine jams while Black Oak Arkansas records play at half speed.
Opening for Drug Rug are experimental psych warlocks Amoroso and maniacal post punk deconstructionists Paper Thin Stages.
Directions to the Milky Way can be found here: Milky Way Directions Show is $7, 21+, doors at 9 p.m. Hope to see you there!
