About me:
Hello, we're winding down the "Help Save Fopp" myspace - thanks again to everyone who got involved. We'll leave this message up for a bit so you know where we've gone ...
Well, it's been grand that you've had some success so far. And who knows? Perhaps HMV might be reopening more Fopps in the near future.
For the time being, though, being able to walk past - no, into - the newly rejuvenated Fopp in Union St in Glasgow gave me a warm, happy feeling inside...:D
I had a big list of cds to buy and was looking forward to going into Fopp, buying a pile and having a lenghty discussion with the workers about my purchases. Then I remembered and felt sad. :( xxxx
Hey there - passing on a message from a pal (Ben)who's going back to work at Fopp Covent Garden:
"Fopp Covent Garden is re-opening very soon. We currently have a few vacancies, so any London ex-foppers, or music types that are interested please forward CV's to the HMV careers email found on their website A.S.A.P!"
Yoo-hoo! Yoo-hoo! Just a quick reminder that FuzzyFeltFolk Party V is this Sunday evening (23rd) in Sleazy's! We'll be seeing off the miserable summertime with some sarnies, some cakes and some wonderful live music from the quite, quite bonkers, Pendulums :o) Expect sunny tunes, snowy tunes and some stupendous classics from the 'childrens vault'! Remember! Bring a dish!
