HENCEFORTH is a progressive and powerful hardcore outfit from Amsterdam(The Netherlands). In December 2001 they recorded their first demo entitled One Day and A Month which contains 15 hardhitting hardcore songs, all live recorded in one day. Despite of the raw recordings, the demo recieved a lot of positive reactions which gave the band a Spirit-Boost!
The next two years they played a lot of shows across the country making new friends and inspiring lots of boys and girls to break down their rooms. While Hardcore and Punk was their format they developed more of their own sound; Raw emotion, violently intense, infectious guitar riffs and with great love for music. Keeping their hardcore roots and adding it with a dynamic and melodic twist.
In 2003 7 songs were recorded and the second CD And Me was born. The CD gave new oppertunities to play even more shows. Fuck Yeah!
Meanwhile they recorded their New Album "An Ambush Among Friends" at Bunt studios with Menno Bakker. It's release on Positive & Focused Records! PICK IT UP! Support your Dutch Hardcore!

De tweede druk van het boek ligt inmiddels bij de drukker en wordt eind oktober verwacht. Crucial Attack Records: State Of Mind – Mental Gold Pre-Orders!!
Originally inspired by bands like Maximum Penalty, Breakdown, Fahrenheit 451 and Leeway, State of Mind have been playing groovy NY styled hardcore since 2005. Now, four years later, the band present their second full length album entitled MENTAL GOLD, to be released by Crucial Attack Records.
It’s a new chapter in the history of a band that has previously released a demo, two 7 inches and a full length. The release marks expansion, musically as well as lyrically. Influences ranging from hip hop to classic rock can be found, while on the lyrical side they take a critical stance towards passiveness and lack of awareness in today’s society. Not very surprising for a hardcore band, you might think, but it’s turning into a rare feature these days.
Crucial Attack Records is now taking pre-orders for State Of Mind – Mental Gold LP/CD. You can order the gatefold LP on limited blue vinyl or on white vinyl. The releasedate for the record is May 16, when State Of Mind will play with True Colors and Bitter End at the Trix, Antwerpen (Belgium).
