I was born in Ann Arbor, MI in 1971 and took to music at a young age, starting piano at the age of 9. I also began playing french horn at age 11.
I attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies and the University of Arizona for graduate studies, both in french horn performance.
I also studied improvisation and composition while in college and began composing heavily after graduate school. To facilitate my compositions, I returned to my original interest, the piano.
I have now been an active synthesizer composer and performer in the Raleigh/Durham area for the past ten years.
My second CD, entitled Swirl, was released in September 2007, and was mixed by Dick Hodgin and mastered by Ian Schreier at Osecola Studios in Raleigh, NC.
I am currently working on a very experimental EP entitled Tautochrone for internet release later this year. I am quite enjoying composing this music.
Hi Andrew! Long time no talk. Hope you’re doing great. Loved your new songs. And Axion is still my favorite, and all the Swirl CD ;) I see that MuseRitual got in touch with you, how cool? His music reminded me your music. I’ll stop by the Ackland Art Museum this Friday. Is it from 5 to 8:30?
We look forward to seeing you at the Moonspell show. Yes, we still are keeping our eyes open for a keyboardist. Using backing tracks because haven't found someone fitting yet. Always looking for flautists for session work. Especially someone with diverse abilities in world wind instruments.
Hendecatope! Thanks for being a friend. Please take the time to check out the Studio's bands on our playlist. Use the links to check out the band's pages. Do what you you can for your local scene. You are the people that make the music scene happen! Tell me what you think!

Hi, Andrew! -Just dropping by your page, hoping to find a Chapel Hill show soon. -Still find your music just as fresh and interesting as the first time I heard it, and am looking to see you again in a live performance.
My pleasure, Andrew! I need to drop by ana's page and thank her for your cd. I LOVE IT. I keep thinking of musicians who you would pair well with for shows. -Looking forward to catching a full show soon!
