Hess Is More celebrating the release of the album "Hits" - touring Reykjavik, New York & Copenhagen.
Danish label Music For Dreams has teamed up with new York based Nublu Records for release in the U.S. & Canada.
On Saturday the 11th of july, the final show of the tour takes place at the famous Tivoli Concert Hall, as part of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
Hess Is More Live:
Bang Chau - Norwegian / vietnamese singer / actress - featured on among other the song "Yes Boss". Holds leading role in the upcoming norwegian feature film "Upperdog", by Oscar nominated director Sara Johnsen. www.upperdog.no
Charlotte Munck - actress / singer. Charlotte has been with the Hess Is More Live band since the very beginning. Meanwhile growing celebrity status with parts in several feature films, and of course as lead of the popular show Anna Pihl.
Nikolaj Hess - jazz pianist / composer with a line of albums out - and, Nikolaj played with Fela Kuti in Nigeria!!!
Jenno - musician, composer & producer also with many albums out - Recently Hess Is More vs. Jenno remix of KUDU, Bli Glad, Gnags, Liv & Jenno.

The special Tivoli show is also a celebration of the bands collaboration with danish artist Tal R. Tal has created the cover for the new release, and for this night, he again teams up with the 7th member of Hess Is More - designer Jacob Wildschiødtz - to create visual elements for the stage.
The Hess Is More Live band is an entity of it's own - by now they have played over 100 live shows around the world.
Working as a collective, the band continues to bring fresh interpretations of the music from the albums. In a unique multiinstrumental set up of electronic and acoustic elements, performance and visual elements, the band delieveres something best described as a live remix experience of the Hess Is More universe - Freestyle Disco Jazz.
