The members of Hey Champ spend their downtime substituting acoustic drums and electric guitars for analog synths, drum machines, red wine, and candlelight. In these delicate moments, a golden nugget of musical production has been known to emerge from a plethora of seemingly cacophanous bangs, blasts, and squirts. Honing their skills in knob-tweaking, Hey Champ DJ's are steadily making a name for themselves within the electronic community in Chicago and abroad.
