Hey Gringo is the Groove Injected Funky, Blues/Roots Combo from Melbourne, Australia.

First album I WAS THERE met with airplay Oz & worldwide in countries such as Argentina, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Canada & The Netherlands, establishing a reputation for their music being "thought provoking and striking a balance between punchy & relaxed grooves, something Hey Gringo do extraordinarily well" by Terry Reilly of the Melbourne Age Newspaper’s Entertainment Guide Album Review.
Their second album Funky Car broke new ground aided through distribution with Soundvault Records and the song co-penned with Ross Wilson & Daryl Roberts Old Country Road gained National airplay. Billy Pinnell (Oz Music Historian & Musicologist) Claimed the FuNkY CaR to be one of the best albums of 2003.
"three" was released in 2005 and met with even more rave reviews, a track being selected for The Neighbours Television Series Worldwide and the co-written song with and sung by Oz Rock legend Ross Wilson - Can’t Love Myself Today being included on a compilation album from Soundvault Records and claimed by reviewers as one of Ross’ best ever vocal performances.

Thanks for the birthday wish. We'll have to have some form of birthday party in honour of my 21st where I'm not running around selling CDs and trying to get more than 5 people to do what no one can be bothered doing.
