Brazilian band from Santos city (São Paulo Estate) formed in March of 1994 by Alexandre (ex-Explicit Repulsion, vocals), Grell (ex-Explicit repulsion, drums), Leao Gazzano (ex-Bones Erosion, guitar) and Ricardo (ex-Black Mountain, bass). HIERARCHICAL PUNISHMENT have the purpose of doing DEATH METAL fast and threatening, with Grindcore influences. With lyrics direct attacking the world's trivial and the society problems. In August of 1995 they record their first demo "THE HUMANITY WALKS THIS WAY". In the beginning of December of the same year, with personal problems, Ricardo go out and Marcio go in to assumes the bass. In August of 1997 a REHEARSAL-DEMO is recorded with new stuff and some songs from their 1st demo. In 1998, Alexandre leaves the band to move on to another State and he was replaced by Renato. In 1999 Dumbo come to the line-up to be a 2nd guitarrist. In 2000 they re-release their 1st demo on cd format with a gig as a bonus track and some months later, Dumbo and Renato leaves the band. In July of 2001, Luiz Carlos (ex-CHEMICAL DISASTER and VULCANO), enter the band to do the vocals. In October of 2001, they recorded another cd-demo “Res Derelicta” with 8 tracks. In 2002, the group take part on 2 brazilian cd-compilations: "ROCK SOLDIERS VOL. 8" (UGK DISCCOS) with 6 tracks, "NOISE FOR DEAF V" (ROTTHENNESS RECS.) with 1 song. In 2002, compilations tracks are included as bonus in the “Res Derelicta” re-release. In 2003, Marcio was replaced by Carlos Diaz (ex-Dhuend and actually Vulcano bass player) and in 2004 Halysson Rodrigo (ex-Traumma) come to be the 2nd guitarrist. In 2006 they release “My Life is a Torture”, their newest demo with 6 tracks. Some months later Halysson Rodrigo died by leukemia. More compilations and a new line-up in 2007 with Luiz Carlos, Grell, Carlos Diaz and the new guys Décio Andolini (ex-Death Target) and Silas Filho (from Não-Repressao) mark the actual moment. They are looking for a record company to release their 1st full-lenght that are finished.
