Formed by five musicians who played in various bands from Verviers, High Voltage burns the stages of Belgian clubs since September 92' and got there his fame. They only play AC/DC hits. The lead guitar's virtuosity can't be closer to the one of Angus Young and the singer is an amazing mixture of Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. On the other hand, the rhythm section is the clone of the original trio.
In June 93',High Voltage plays headline at the "Fêtes de la musique" in Engis (audiance : 1.500 people).
In 94',they steal the show from Tex at the Motorcycles 24H of Francorchamps.
In 95', They open for Glenn Hughes and Mercyful Fate at the Via Rock Festival for Girlschool and Such a Noise in various festivals.
In 96' and 97', High Voltage keeps on touring, plays headline at the TNT Show in Chimay and also abroad
Early 98', High Voltage signs with Big Sky Music for a live album. It will be a tribute to Bon Scott and will be recorded during their show at the Spirit of 66 on the 22d March 1998.
The "If you Wanna Rock'n'Roll" album is released in September 98' and the band promotes it since then through Belgium (Alive Fest 98', Oostende Paulusfeesten Fest 99', Leuven Marktrock 99', Spirit of 66, Nandrin Fest 2000, SunRock Fest 2000, Rock Affligem 2001,...) and abroad (Bordeaux, Den Bosch, Prüm, Irrhausen, Simmerath, Hirson Fest 99', Hirson Fest 2000,...).
"Whole lotta Rosie", from the High Voltage album, is part of the compilation made by the French mag Hard Rock magazine for the AC/DC 2001 World Tour with that mention "This Belgian tribute-band could remplace AC/DC incognito no one could see it" (HRM October 2000).
In 2001, they open for Status Quo at Forest National in Brussels in front of 8.000 enthusiastic rockers.

Between 2002 and 2007, they keep on touring abroad Germany [Bitburg, Kenn, Oberkail, Bollendorf, Piesport,...] , Luxemburg [L'Atelier, Rock am zee in Weiswampach], France [Meisenthal,...), China Tour 2008 and Belgium [Superbiker of Mettet, opening of the festivals of Wallonia, St Vith, Trève, 10th birthday of the Spirit of 66, Spa,...])and begin to write an album in the style of their Australian idols.
And since then, the band keeps on touring where ever requested, be it in festivals or clubs. With the same enthusiasm and pleasure shared with the public.
