Highway Lines of Shreveport, Louisiana have their own groove that has toes tapping all around town. the ‘Lines have evolved into a full fledged Rock band, coming from gracious beginnings at local coffee shops. They consistently draw crowds at venues such as the Actor’s Café, Superior Bar and Grill, and most recently Shreveport Summer Fest. Their fluid music and tempo create a wave of sound about life as they know it. In songs like “Main Fire” a raw beat emerges that shares a fluidic story so as to coalesce everyone in the room.
Maintaining a revolving door of influences, it’s not unusual to catch a foretaste of Bob Dylan, Wilco, and undoubtedly The Beatles, seamlessly intertwined with contemporary twists. With these inspiring forces they have achieved well thought-out harmony. Highway Lines framework is comprised of Daniel Goodwill’s original and poignant lyrics brought to life with powerful vocals, Rocker-bassist Laura Wooten, Chris Derosia on soulful lead guitar, and the drumming of Steve Emery keeps the blood pumping on overdrive. After more than two years of generating jive-worthy music, they were able to fully produce their first E.P. and are currently working on their debut full length album to be released this fall.

you lovelies don't have to worry about bringing amps or a kit--you can use ours (this way we reduce the time-gap between sets). just tell your drummer to bring a snare and some cymbals. extra stands will be provided. i'm not sure how much we can pay ya'll but we'll work out those details later that night.
