HolliePollock is a unique four-piece band from Salem, Oregon. Their unique blend of retro 60's style psychedelic and folk rock, with modern northwestern indie, alternative, and grunge overtones has earned them great respect from their eclectic followers.
The Band has composed and performed together since 2005 and has quickly established a loyal following of thousands of devotees. They have performed at all of their local venues and even won a "New Band" competition at Roseland in Portland, OR, in 2005.
The band consists of members Justin Miller on lead vocals and guitar, Robert Harris on percussion and backup vocals, Matt Hall on bass and backup vocals, and Ben Bond on guitar.
HolliePollock recently signed production/marketing contracts with Lucky Dog Records (LDR) (Salem, OR.) in early 2009 who then produced their new EP, and LP, and remixed and mastered their first LP for re-release.
They recorded with LDR at Bomb Shelter Recording Studios, also in Salem, Oregon.
I enjoyed the retracking yesterday, and think the new mix will amaze your fans! Drums to be redone today for "Your All Wrong." Are you enjoying recording at Bomb Shelter? Jared is an amazing producer!
