The Sun Will Come, the new album on Just Music from electronica pioneers Honeyroot (Glenn Gregory & Keith Lowndes) is fresh, original, diverse and a complete listening experience, one of those special albums that makes you want to listen to it again and again and again...
If you don’t believe us - listen...
From the very first to the very last note, The Sun Will Come is a classic summer album - to sit alongside Air's Moon Safari, Moby's Play and Royksopp's Melody AM but with a sound that is uniquely Honeyroot. With its range of styles from the delicate to the immense, combining an intense energy with a calming ambience – how to say it in words!- it is destined to become a modern masterpiece and THE summer soundtrack for 2007 - a must for beach parties, dance floors and back gardens across the globe. Or, if you can’t be there – then sit back, listen, and just imagine....
"The follow up to Honeyroot's critically acclaimed debut offers ambient, chilled out electronica; a beguiling mix of lush synths, subtle beats and spine-chilling melody. Expect it to soundtrack your trip to the coffee shop for months to come"
Music Week
"A beautifully crafted record, part Morcheeba, part Zero 7, part Air, part Royksopp….but this is in a different league. This has it’s (honeyed) roots in torch-song soul, romance and melodrama. Call it dance , call it soundtracky electronica, but this is really a modern day soul record in the cutest disguise you’ll ever come across" 7/8

"Quite simply dazzling.. this is both the height of fashion and a work of real quality. Solid bass that morphs and bends when it should and a top end that dances. A hi-fi treat. **** "
Hi Fi Choice

Nobody Loves you and Where I Belong are blissful dreamscapes" ***

"Honeyroot are seriously good. The Sun Will Come is a hot weather record, a soundtrack to deserted beaches, sands and sunrises" ****

"They have delivered an album of individual tracks that would sit happily in any of the great albums [Air's Moon Safari, Royksopp's Melody AM, Moby's Play, Massive Attack's Blue Lines and Protection] The beauty is that they are all together in one place to provide ideal listening material for the summer" *****
Music-News.com
"The perfect summer chillout album, full of gentle beats and uplifting melodies. Right from the opening track you know this will be special with a cinematic feel in places that is just beautiful" ****

To celebrate our first 27 releases on Section 27 Netlabel, we proudly present to you "Sectioned", a compilation of 27 tracks, amounting to 2 hours across two discs of twisted electronic beats, discordant melodies, haunting passages, broken ambience, bending senses of time and space, microscopic glitches, pounding bass frequencies, sounds between sounds, the human voice and the audible sensation of music dissolving in acid. This is the sound of your mind's eye. This is the sound of the Sectioned... Strap yourself in and enjoy the experience.
Also features a 75 minute bonus disc "Sectioned : Nonimxs", including 9 remixes of selected Section 27 artists by Nonima and 2 original tracks created by Silent Snow and Nina Kardec using existing Nonima tracks.

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
Thanks for the add Honeyroot, I love your sounds btw, awesome
