Bio:

My name is Kelton...well i have been obsessed with music from a young age,i remember hearing my mother playing her motown records on summer afternoons at the age of eight and it having an effect on me...i started playing guitar aged 12 and and played in various punk/blues and rock bands through my late teens and twenties..in my late twenties i started to paint uv decor and then moved onto chillout dj'ing being lucky enough to play at return to the source..then i got into mainfloor dj'ing and it was my life for ten years.... Soon after being introduced to alex(evp)and beardy by spiney,wildthings was formed.. With a lot of help from spiney i started to produce my own music and 6 years later i still enjoy the struggle to sound original and the eternal question what is psychedelic music all about?and what makes a good tune? I have been writing music for wildthingsrecords for about 5 years..i have had 8 tracks released on the last 4 wildthings compilations and my album 'audio illusion' is now out.... I am currently working on a new hoodwink album called 'sound mirrors' and a new project called 'Beat thief'...more experimental and using live bass and guitar sounds but still drawing from the psychedelic scene.....i hope to have the beat thief album released sometime in the summer..and the new hoodwink album shortly after..... Influences:

My influences for the psy trance are mainly from the oldschool labels like Matsuri,Flying Rhino,T.I.P.and Dragonfly....Eat Static are also a great influence and the first psychedelic dance band to grab my attention. Other influences are,x-dream,tysyoshi susuki,prana,aphid moon,process,deviant electronics,the delta,organic noise,hux flux,underworld,children of the bong,way out west,system7,tristan,manmademan,massive attack,propellerheads,adam freeland,layo and bushwacka,howard marks and ofcourse...pink floyd..
