    The Hoolios have fast become favorites on the New England music scene. The six piece roots rock project founded by songwriter Jim Carpenter, is known for taking its audience on a musical travelog around the Gulf of Mexico by way of the rhythm and grooves of alternative country, folk/rock, zydeco and caribbean. The band's debut discs ('Silver Triangle' and 'Rosalie') were released in January 2009. The albums feature special guests: Laura Light, Wayne Manca, Louise Mueller, Byron House, John Mock and Kelly Jewel. A new cd entitled 'The Dream' is scheduled for release in January 2012.
